MyInvy ("we," "us," or "our") operates the MyInvy mobile application and web platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services.
By using MyInvy, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Personal Information
When you create an account or use our services, we may collect:
- Name and display name
- Email address
- Profile avatar
- Organization name and details
Business Data
To provide our inventory management services, we store:
- Inventory items, categories, and quantities
- Location and stocking area information
- Count sessions and schedules
- Shopping lists and purchase orders
- Supplier information
- Item images you upload
Payment Information
We process payments through Stripe and the Apple App Store. We do not store your credit card numbers or bank account details directly. Payment processors may collect:
- Subscription plan and billing status
- Billing dates and renewal preferences
- Transaction identifiers (managed by Stripe or Apple)
Device and Technical Information
We automatically collect certain technical information:
- IP address and browser/device user-agent (for login security)
- Push notification device tokens (to send you alerts)
- Device type and platform information
Biometric Data
If you enable Face ID or Touch ID to unlock the app, biometric authentication is processed entirely on your device by Apple's security framework. We never receive, transmit, or store your biometric data.

We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain our inventory management services
- Authenticate your identity and secure your account
- Process subscription payments and manage billing
- Send push notifications for low stock alerts and updates

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly to operate our platform:
- Microsoft Azure — cloud hosting, data storage, identity management (Azure B2C), email communications, and push notifications
- Stripe — payment processing for web subscriptions
- Apple — payment processing for in-app subscriptions via the App Store
We may also disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication tokens, and role-based access controls to protect your information.
Item images and import files are stored in encrypted cloud storage. Access to your organization's data is restricted to authorized members based on their assigned roles and locations.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal and business data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Login audit records (IP address and device information) are retained for up to 6 months for security purposes.
If your account is inactive for 12 consecutive months, we may delete your account and all associated data, including inventory records, item images, and organization information. We will attempt to notify you by email before deletion.
When you delete your account, we remove your personal information from our identity system and your organization membership. You may also request full deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Delete your account and associated personal data
- Export your inventory data
- Opt out of push notifications at any time through your device settings

7. Children's Privacy
MyInvy is a business tool designed for use by adults and authorized employees. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If we learn that we have collected data from a person under 16, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
8. Analytics and Tracking
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs in our mobile app. We do not collect advertising identifiers or share your data with ad networks.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
